“The story of my CAR-T patient as painted by her continues. Her latest (bottom right) shows the ongoing need for neutrophils 2 years post-CAR-T.

My artist patient painted those awesome CART cells attacking her Richter into oblivion. Amazing story of aplastic marrow rescued by donor boost.

She was septic, intubated, on 4 pressors, with post alloHCT graft failure and ANC of a quick CD34 boost is what was needed to give her an outside chance. Today she walked into my clinic and brought her ‘Stem Cell’ painting as a gift (my heart melted).”
