Wafik S. El-Deiry: Outstanding discussions at the WIN Consortium Molecular Tumor Board
Wafik S. El-Deiry, Associate Dean for Oncologic Sciences at the Warren Alpert Medical School posted on X/Twitter:
“Outstanding discussions this week at the WIN Consortium Molecular Tumor Board of two challenging cases I presented including a young mid-age adult man with a grade IV glioblastoma WT IDH1, histone H3 G35R mutation, PTEN, p53 mutations among others and an elderly man with metastatic colorectal cancer with liver and bone metastases, microsatellite stable, WT KRAS and BRAF, mutant APC and p53 who after numerous chemotherapy regimens over 3 years has a TMB >20 with multiple other detectable mutations on liquid biopsy.
Appreciate the expert and diverse inputs especially Razelle Kurzrock to recognize and prioritize potential treatment options for patients.
All deidentified presentations at request by and with permission from the patients.”
