“I had the chance to speak personally with Katie Hill last week and hear her story first hand. Unfortunately, we are both members of a club that no one wants to join, but we bonded over our shared mission to glean the positives of our patient experience to inform and improve the healthcare system at large. Chris Slawecki does an absolutely beautiful job of capturing Katie’s journey and message.
People like Katie, Chris, and my Parexel colleague Alberto Grignolo Ph.D., FDIA are why I am honored to be selected to join the DIA Global Annual Meeting Program Committee (AMPC) to develop content for the Patient Engagement track.
These conversations will drive our priorities and actions to include patients in drug development. Representing the diverse needs and voices of my fellow advocates is the legacy of my miraculous survivorship, and I’m humbled to serve.
