Maite Gorostegui: Programa TELEO gives us a unique space to share knowledge and experience
Maite Gorostegui, Chair of the SIOP Global Mapping Programme, shared a post by Ana Carolina Izurieta Pacheco, Fellow in Pediatric Oncology and Hematology at Pediatric Cancer Center Barcelona, on LinkedIn and added:
“Programa TELEO gives us a unique space to share knowledge and experience. We just finished our Renal Tumors classes, and was great to see how our fellows from National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases (INEN) presented their case, and other fellows in the room had already experience with extrarenal Wilm’s tumor. The second case from Pediatric Cancer Center Barcelona using check point inhibitors in first line treatment for rhabdoid tumor of the kidney it was very encouraging. Thank you Viviana, Jimena and Maria. And many thanks to Juan Pablo Muñoz for his brilliant class.”
Quoting Ana Carolina Izurieta Pacheco’s post:
“The Renal Tumors Unit this TELEO season is led by Pediatric Cancer Center Barcelona team: Maite Gorostegui, Pedro Arango Sancho, Juan Pablo Muñoz. Thanks, Maite for tonight’s Wilms Tumor class. You provided us clear insights into diagnosis, treatment, and key concepts to consider in these patients. Also, for giving us a global perspective on pediatric treatment in other regions like Sub-Saharan Africa. Looking forward to Juan Pablo Muñoz’s class on non-Wilms renal tumors next Wednesday. Featuring clinical cases presented by fellows from Peru and Barcelona.”
