“How can you make your research article be accepted easily in a short time?

This was the main question pressing on my mind when I had my first submission of a research article about 10 years ago.

Today, when I became the investigator, the reviewer oncologist, this question totally changed into:

Does this research help cancer patients?

Does that article add anything to science?

How can this publication be more readable?

Today, I’m still thinking about those young oncologists who were in my place many years ago, trying to submit their first journal article:
Did they have the chance to think like their reviewers? not only as an author.

If they did so, they would have their submission accepted easily.
