“Another great start to the day! This morning I had the special honor of joining Greg Adams, Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Kaiser Permanente to discuss his insights on ‘Making the Shift to Value Based Care: Better Outcomes. Better Innovation. Better Future for All’ at the American College of Healthcare Executives 2024 Congress. Highlights from our conversation included how far the health care industry, and specifically Kaiser Permanente, have come since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as Greg’s vision for the future of health care. Our fireside chat included so many gems for the attendees including Greg’s perspectives on value-based care; equity, diversity, and inclusion; community health; and health care challenges. These ACHE gatherings never disappoint — I loved my time at this year’s conference — learning, sharing, and connecting with fellow health care leaders from across the industry.
