“The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy has announced five winners for the 2023 Year of Open Science Recognition Challenge this March, recognizing the the Pediatric Cancer Data Commons (PCDC) project led by the Data for the Common Good for their efforts to create the world’s largest international sharing platform for data from kids with cancer.
Dr. Doug Hawkins, pediatric oncologist at the Seattle Children’s and Group Chair of the Children’s Oncology Group, was involved in the PCDC project which harnesses pediatric, adolescent, young adult, and adult cancer clinical data from around the world into a single unified platform for research.
Learn more about PCDC’s contributions to improve total health and advance the Cancer Moonshot for rare diseases like pediatric cancer.”
