Things we do not need in academia – Ross Levine
Things we do not need in academia.
1. MOC Aaron Goodman
2. A different submission/review portal for each journal.
3. Financial disclosure forms for each investigator for each trial which have the same information as the last 100.
4. The same 250K modular budget for 20+ years.
5. Statements of work for grant submissions.
6. Microsoft Teams.
7. Medical licenses for each state, or at least the need to get fingerprinted at the same facility each time you get a new state medical license.
8. the “re-doodle”->the doodle pool for a meeting after the first doodle poll does not give a good time for all (just choose a time!)
9. pre-recorded zoom talks either as primary talk or as a “backup”
10. Two pathology classification systems for heme malignancies Sanam Loghavi.
