Cements the notion that many days with even short clinic visits are potentially burdensome to patients and caregivers. Proof of concept from his previous editorial that any day with healthcare contact is a “contact day”.
To me – it is also a reminder for our clinical trialists – are we considering time burdens when designing protocols? Consider inviting Arjun Gupta to share ways to measure “time toxicity” as it is a patient-centered outcome.”
