Katie Coleman: Hiding tears again as I share my story at RON 2.0, but this time because of how grateful I am to still be here
Katie Coleman, Founder of Chromophobe and Oncocytic Tumor Alliance (COA) shared a post on X/Twitter:
“3 years ago, I was staring out the window, hiding my tears from my husband after a stage IV diagnosis and a plethora of bad news because I was afraid to die.
Today, on World Cancer Day, I’ll be on stage, staring out at a room of 200 women, hiding tears again as I share my story at RON 2.0, but this time because of how grateful I am to still be here and to have no active cancer.
More patients deserve moments like this. I won’t stop advocating until we get there. All in this together.”
