It’ is the most common cause of childhood cancer treatment failure in Africa – CANCaRe Africa
½ Treatment abandonment is the name for when cancer treatment isn’t completed for non-medical reasons. It’ is the most common cause of childhood cancer treatment failure in Africa.
2/3 Our pilot project in Malawi “towards zero percent abandonment” showed that support with out-of-pocket costs significantly helped families to complete treatment of their child and increased survival.
3/3 With our partners and sponsors we will now expand this support to (hopefully many) more families and hospitals in sub-Saharan Africa. Would you like to help us to help the families? Please get in touch with [email protected]
