Hillary Andrews: Excited to Share That Theresa’s Research Foundation’s Manuscript about MARP was Published in npj Breast Cancer
Hillary Andrews, Director of Regulatory and Research Partnerships at Friends of Cancer Research, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“So excited to share that Theresa’s Research Foundation’s manuscript about MARP has just been published in npj Breast Cancer!
This paper highlights the design, goals, and experiences of the MBCRC Advocate Researcher Program (MARP)—a program first run at MBCRC 2023 that focused on building meaningful, bidirectional partnerships between metastatic breast cancer advocates and researchers. Our hope is that others will use this model to develop these relationships at future conferences. It’s been a privilege to work alongside dedicated individuals who are deeply committed to reshaping how research is done with the patient community, not just for it.
A huge thanks to my co-authors and to everyone who’s contributed to this important work, especially Josh Newby and Theresa’s Research Foundation for making it all possible!”
