Mainak Bardhan: Showcasing How AI-Powered Integration Is Reshaping Microbiome Science
Mainak Bardhan, Doctoral Researcher at Howard Hughes Medical Institute-University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, shared Himel Mallick’s post on LinkedIn:
“Honored to contribute as an author to this work led by Himel Mallick, in the Second Edition of Metagenomics for Microbiology – showcasing how AI-powered multimodal integration is reshaping microbiome science and driving new frontiers in metagenomic research.
We discussed how multiomics approaches are uncovering the complex roles of the microbiome in human health, including its involvement in multiple cancers (such as colorectal, pancreatic, and lung cancer) and neurological disorders (like Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and autism spectrum disorders).
Huge thanks to my co-authors Chaitali S Daglli, Ziyu Liu, and Jialin Gao for the wonderful collaboration!
Quoting Himel Mallick’s, Principal Investigator (Tenure-track Faculty), Population Health Sciences, post:
