Sana Al Sukhun is a Consultant in Medical Oncology/Hematology, mainly interested in in translational research particularly development of biologic therapies and predictors of response to systemic therapy targeting breast, ovarian, pancreatic, biliary and other solid tumors. In 2023, she was the first Arab woman to be recognized as Fellow of ASCO. In 2015, she was elected as a president of the Jordanian Oncology Society. She is the past-chair of the ASCO International Affairs Committee and Co-Chair of Resource Stratified Guidelines WG.
Dr. Al Sukhun served on the Global Policy Committee of ESMO, and an active member of various international societies. She was the Director of Breast and Gynecology Service at King Hussein Cancer Centre, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Jordan.
