Rasha Aboelhassan: What’s the best achievement for oncologists
Rasha Aboelhassan,
Nasser Institute Hospital, shared on LinkedIn:“What’s the best achievement for oncologists?
What is the achievement that makes me really satisfied to make 2023 pass away safely? May be participation in St Gallen and ABC Global Alliance 2023 and interactive discussion with professors. May be participation in HCC committee in BCLC. In during preceptorship in Hospital Clínic de Barcelona? May be when you are the speaker at the International Oncology conference? May be when NGO accepts recriminations of your poor patient for new expensive anti cancer treatment?
May be when you discuss lung cancer cases in IEO Istituto Europeo di Oncologia Institute with Lorenzo Spaggiari? And when you present your cases to Rolf Sehel, president of ETOP IBCSG Partners Foundation?
Maybe when you become the first author in international publication for real-world data of your country? Maybe when have the best team of young oncologists in Ministry of Health and Population – Egypt. I’m thankful for having all of the above blessings.
But the truth is that I felt the real satisfaction and fruitful when my 40 years old stage IV uterine cancer surprised me with her PET-CT saying I’m in complete remission.
this is the real achievement for any oncologists.
now I can let go the year 2023.”
