Drew Moganaki about smoking cessation
Drew Moghanaki, Lung Cancer Specialist at UCLA Health Jonsson Cancer Center, shared a post on X/Twitter:
“A person who can’t stop smoking after being diagnosed with lung cancer doesn’t have a bad habit that can be easily remedied. As Jill Feldman says, ‘Picking your nose is a bad habit; smoking is an addition.’ They have generally tried to quit many times before meeting you, so you might want to be formally trained in smoking cessation if you want to be successful at helping them quit.”
