“We are grateful for the great discussions we had at yesterday’s Online Roundtable on Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Oncology!
We shared what we learned during the visits we conducted in hospitals from Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands over the summer, we talked about key insights with patient advocates, caregivers, AYA experts, researchers, and healthcare professionals, brainstorming how we can implement better standards of cancer care.
Every step we’ve taken so far will play a crucial role in shaping the “Specialist AYA Units Minimum Standards” Position Paper and policy recommendations, reinforcing our continuous efforts to improve the quality of life of AYA cancer survivors within the European Union and beyond.”
