Wafik S. El-Deiry: 3rd China – US Anti-Cancer Summit bringing together leaders

Wafik S. El-Deiry posted on X/Twitter:

“Great presentations by leaders in the field and discussions at the 3rd China – US Anti-Cancer Summit bringing together leaders from the American Association for Cancer Research, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Cancer Society, China Anti-Cancer Association (CACA) and Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology.

There is much progress and many opportunities for collaboration to increase access, equity and to accelerate impact. The burden of cancer varies, underlying causes and mortality outcomes also vary in US vs China.

Hoping for more support of international collaboration against the common enemy known as cancer. More funding, more harmonization of methodologies, data standardization and information sharing would help.”
