“I had the honor of representing Medicaid CF Programs at the grand launch of Breast Cancer Access Navigation and Testing (BRANT) Program, a transformative initiative for improving early detection, patient navigation, and access to breast cancer care in Nigeria. Breast cancer remains a major public health challenge, but programs like BRANT, led by OncopadiApp, supported by Roche, are expanding access to timely screening, diagnosis, and treatment, ultimately improving survival rates.
Beyond treatment access, comprehensive patient support is essential, especially for those battling Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC). Through initiatives like the OneCallAway Program, Medicaid CF Programs connects MBC patients to healthcare and psychosocial support services. Additionally, the Patient Access to Cancer Care (PACE) Program which has provided over $43,000 in subsidies, helping more than 150 patients access over 600 chemotherapy medications, significantly reducing financial barriers.
By prioritizing collaboration, advocacy, and innovative patient-centered programs, Medicaid Cancer Foundation remain committed to ensuring that no woman is left behind in the fight against cancer.”
