Anirban Maitra: There is no substitute for hustle when you are a PI

Anirban Maitra, Director of the Sheikh Ahmed Pancreatic Cancer Research Center, shared a post on X:

“The PI of a research lab in academia is the CEO/CSO/CFO combined, and this is on target for that as well. There is no substitute for hustle when you are a PI. The most successful colleagues I see at Anderson are the ones sending me 1AM or 4AM emails. I wish I had their energy!”
