“That’s a wrap on the SIOG Masterclass 2025!
Day 3 closed out an incredible program of expert insights, practical learning, and collaborative exchange—all focused on advancing clinical research in Geriatric Oncology at SIOG Masterclass 2025.
The final day featured sessions on:
- Funding opportunities for clinical trials.
- Integrating patient perspectives in research.
- Digitalization and non-pharmacological interventions.
- Hematology and surgical trial design.
- Translational research implementation.
Another round of working groups allowed participants to refine their clinical trial protocols, applying lessons learned throughout the course. The day culminated with participants presenting their trial designs and receiving invaluable feedback from leading experts.
As they return to their practices, participants are now equipped with new strategies and deeper insights to design and implement more effective clinical trials tailored to the needs of older adults with cancer.
