“On Saturday, UF Health Cancer Center member Ibrahim Nassour, M.D., gave a presentation on preoperative approaches in early-stage pancreatic cancer at the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology 2025 Clinical Oncology Series on GI cancer updates in Tampa!
The conference brought together GI cancer experts to explore leading-edge research and innovative treatment approaches in GI cancers, including updates on clinical trials, novel therapies, and best practices for improving patient outcomes.
Melissa Lynn MSN, coordinator of our nurse navigator team, also attended for networking and educational opportunities.
At UF Health, Nassour specializes in surgeries for cancers of the gastrointestinal tract, pancreas, liver, and bile duct. He has a special interest in robotic pancreato-biliary surgery, including robotic pancreaticoduodenectomy (Whipple procedure), and regional therapies for metastatic disease.”
