Don’t miss the launch of the IARC – International Agency for Research on Cancer/World Health Organization Handbooks on Cancer Prevention: Volume 19 Oral Cancer Prevention.

Oral cancer represents a major cancer burden globally, with particular importance in South East Asia and Western Pacific among non smokers also.

The handbook informs about primary and secondary prevention interventions for oral cancer and will be an important resource in tackling smokeless tobacco and areca nut use, a major risk factor.”
