“Great pleasure to meet with my sister Sylvia Masebo, Zambia’s Health Minister, to discuss how WHO can continue supporting Zambia to achieve health for all, as well as to respond effectively to ongoing cholera and anthrax outbreaks. We discussed the importance of local production of vaccines and medicines in Africa and strengthening the African Medicines Agency. I thanked the Minister for taking an active part in the Pandemic Accord negotiations.”
