Fabrice Barlesi: The President of the French Republic lays the 1st stone of the new research building in Gustave Roussy
Fabrice Barlesi, Chief Executive Officer of Gustave Roussy, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Here we are!
The President of the French Republic lays the 1st stone of the new research building in Gustave Roussy.
It is an honour for Gustave Roussy and a strong signal of the national commitment to the fight against cancer.
This new research building, designed to foster innovation and scientific synergies, embodies our ambition to turn discoveries into concrete progress for patients.
With the support of the public authorities and our partners, we are affirming our position as a European leader in oncology and our determination to meet the major challenges of tomorrow.
I would like to warmly thank Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, as well as all the ministers, authorities and partners present today, on the occasion of World Cancer Day.
More than ever, Gustave Roussy, the leading cancer centre in France and Europe, is fully committed to curing 80% of cancer patients by 2040.”
