Isabel Mestres: I recently had the pleasure of sharing my insights with Geneva International about City Cancer Challenge’s place in Geneva
Isabel Mestres, CEO at City Cancer Challenge Foundation, shared the following post on LinkedIn:
“I recently had the pleasure of sharing my insights with Geneva International about City Cancer Challenge’s place in Geneva. As founding member and CEO, I have been privileged to witness our growth and development since our inception in 2017.
C/Can believes in the power of partnerships and has forged strong relationships with other organizations, such as the World Health Organization, that are playing a crucial role in shaping a transformative narrative in cancer care. By working together, we are able to achieve greater impact and reach more people in need.
While Geneva provides an excellent platform for international engagement, we understand the importance of staying connected with the grassroots. We made it a priority to focus on locally-led development, which has been proven to be more cost-effective, efficient, and sustainable. By being more in tune with the needs of the hashtag#community, we are able to develop tailored solutions that make a real difference in people’s lives.
Thank you Laura Schmid for the opportunity to share my views in this column!”
