Marianne Gandee: Great partners can change the world
Marianne Gandee, Vice President of Patient Solutions and Alliances at Pfizer, posted on LinkedIn:
“With the right collaborative partner, you can achieve much more powerful growth than you ever could on your own. Great partners can change the world, from double cones, Ben and Jerry, to double helix, Watson and Crick, partnerships that are grounded in shared goals, diverse perspectives and mutual trust and respect help humanity go farther faster. Partnerships with advocacy organizations are integral to how we focus on designing and delivering innovation in cancer to the patients we serve.
In 2024, we helped the American Cancer Society launch Change the Odds. It built on our mutual mission to achieve greater awareness of cancer screening, navigation and clinical trials, with a core component to connect people with reliable information, no matter who they are or where they live. We are bringing the discussion to front porches and city stoops, in an effort to create trust, connectivity and empower people living with or at risk for breast and prostate cancers.
ACS honored us with their 2024 award for Corporate Partner of the Year. We have so much more to deliver on, and it will take a community to drive change, challenge convention and disrupt suffering. I’m hopeful that this collaboration will be one of many to make note of in helping positively impact cancer and shape the future for years to come.
Big thank you to our partners at ACS and the many leaders at Pfizer bringing this to life!”
