Putting patients first even during crisis
Sumanta K. Pal, Medical Oncologist at the City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center, shared a post on X:
”With his home likely lost to the fires overnight, my department chair Ravi Salgia came in at 02:30 and started seeing patients in our hospital. This is leadership.
We are facing a huge crisis here and my heart goes out to all of my fellow Los Angelinos who have been affected by the fires. It warms my heart to see the amazing dedication of colleagues at City of Hope, always putting our patients first.”
