Eleonora Teplinsky: Let’s talk about short term alcohol use after a diagnosis of breast cancer
Eleonora Teplinsky, Head of Breast Medical Oncology at Valley-Mount Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Care in Paramus, shared the following on Twitter:
“Let’s talk about short term alcohol use after a diagnosis of breast cancer and how it impacts recurrence or risk of dying.
Short term alcohol use (~6 months after diagnosis) does not impact risk of recurrence or death. This study does not guide us on longer term use. More in video!
