Sachin Jain: Leadership crisis in US healthcare on Heart of Healthcare podcast
Sachin Jain, President and CEO of SCAN Group and Health Plan, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I joined the singular Halle Tecco, MPH, MBA on her Heart of Healthcare podcast to talk about the leadership crisis in US healthcare that seems to be boiling over.
Things won’t get better in US healthcare until we stop telling ourselves that they are better than they are.
I learned long ago that ‘how you define a problem influences how you solve that problem.’
And people atop large healthcare institutions need to stop gaslighting the public that they are making a positive difference in people’s lives when they are a major source of the problems people experience.
The public isn’t buying it anymore.
Rather we should all be saying:
We have problems.
We need to fix these problems.”
