“Today received the photo from SOHO Annual Meeting. Such an honor to be part of the great Society of Hematologic Oncology and to be the Ambassador of the Society to Armenia. The Society was created and led by living legend Hagop Kantarjian and his colleagues! I was so fortunate, that a short, but very important part of my career I spent in his department, under the mentorship of another wonderful physician-scientist Marina Konopleva.
Dr. Kantarjian’s out-of-box way of thinking, courage and, of course, genuine humor, has been inspirational and motivational for the generations of cancer researchers and physicians, and his breakthrough innovations saved and continues to save thousands of patients all over the world!”
