Childhood Cancer and Leukemia International Consortium (CLIC) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“2025 CLIC Scientific Meeting in Taiwan
Our semi-annual meeting in Taipei, Taiwan is going well! We are so glad to have our members from over 10 countries join us in-person, and more joining online.
On our first day, we heard from keynote speakers, Dr. Yen-Lin Liu and Dr. Logan Spector. PI’s from current CLIC projects provided updates, and the discussion flowed between our members online and in-person!
We are excited to continue with additional keynote talks from Dr. Soyeon Cheon and Dr. Julia Heck, a discussion of global childhood cancer initiatives, and poster presentations on the second day.
Many thanks to our hosts, Dr. Pei-Chen Lee, Dr. Cheon and their team, who have been very welcoming!

We will continue to update our LinkedIn and website after the meeting!”

“CLIC 2025: A Powerful Gathering for Childhood Cancer Research
Attending the 2025 CLIC Scientific Meeting virtually was an inspiring experience! Although I couldn’t be there in person, I deeply appreciated the opportunity to engage with world-class researchers dedicated to understanding and combating childhood cancer.
The keynote talks, project updates, and global discussions showcased the power of collaboration in unraveling the genetic, environmental, and epidemiological factors behind childhood leukemia and other malignancies. It was also exciting to see new scientists expressing interest in joining CLIC—our collective efforts are expanding, and with them, the hope for a future where no child has to suffer from cancer.
A heartfelt thank you to CLIC Chair, Prof. Dr. Logan Spector, CLIC Program Manager, CLIC Foundation Executive Director Iris Parshley, and the incredible Taiwan team for their dedication and efforts in organizing such a successful meeting. The seamless coordination and engaging discussions truly reflect the strength of the CLIC community.
The CLIC family represents a global force for change , bringing together expertise, passion, and innovation to uncover the causes of childhood cancer and, one day, eliminate it altogether. Grateful to be part of this incredible network!”
