“Join Cancer Fight Tanzania: Let’s Unite Against Lung Cancer.
Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer deaths globally, claiming 1.8 million lives annually. Its late detection makes it one of the deadliest cancers. Smoking is the leading cause, responsible for 85% of cases, with pollutants and secondhand smoke worsening the risk. However, early detection through regular screenings and quitting smoking can save countless lives.
Dr. Shaban Juma, Chairperson of Cancer Fight Tanzania, breaks down the primary causes of lung cancer and highlights smoking as the biggest risk factor. Let’s educate ourselves to protect our communities.
We need you! Join Cancer Fight Tanzania to raise awareness, advocate for cleaner environments, and promote preventive measures. Together, we can fight lung cancer and create a healthier future for all.
Act now. Watch, share, and take part in the fight against lung cancer.”
