Antonio Passaro: Discussing advancements in the therapeutic landscape of EGFR-mutated lung cancer
Antonio Passaro, Medical oncologist at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I’m returning home from an extensive journey that took me through Thailand and Hong Kong – a trip filled with invaluable opportunities to meet, exchange ideas, and grow professionally.
During this time, I had the privilege to delve into discussions about the rapid and transformative advancements in the therapeutic landscape of EGFR-mutated lung cancer. The recent positive data from studies like PAPILLON, MARIPOSA, MARIPOSA-2, FLAURA2, and HERTHENA L1&2 are reshaping this setting in ways we’ve never seen before.
It was both an honor and a pleasure to be hosted by Tony Mok during the IOHK24. I’m heading back home with a sense of fulfillment, my suitcase full of insights, and a renewed determination to continue working tirelessly for our patients.
A thank you to Alan Ka-Lun KAI and Worada Dandamrongrak and their exceptional teams for unwavering support, dedication, and professionalism throughout this journey. And, of course, a big thank you to all the colleagues and friends I had the pleasure of meeting along the way.”
