World Children’s Day: Championing Children’s Rights Worldwide Every November 20th – Childhood Cancer International
Childhood Cancer International shared a post on LinkedIn:
“World Children’s Day: Championing Children’s Rights Worldwide Every November 20th, we honor a landmark moment in history. In 1959, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, affirming that every child deserves protection, respect, and opportunities to thrive.
Three decades later, in 1989, the world achieved another milestone with the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) – a treaty that continues to shape our collective vision for a fairer, brighter future for all children.
At Childhood Cancer International, this day strengthens our mission to ensure that every child with cancer has access to timely diagnosis, effective treatment, and the unwavering right to hope. Together, we can uphold their rights and create a future where no child is left behind.
Join us in celebration! Share how this day inspires you to take meaningful action for children’s rights. Let’s make a difference, together.”
