Cristiane D. Bergerot is the Director of the Department of Psycho-Oncology at CETTRO Cancer Research Hospital in Brasilia, Brazil. She has been working with cancer patients for almost 15 years as a clinician and as a researcher.

She has over 30 peer-reviewed publications in journals including first-author publications in Cancer, Journal of Immunotherapy for Cancer, British Journal of Urology International and Pscyhooncology.

She has received four merit awards from the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Conquer Cancer Foundation and was selected for the SWOG Young Investigator Course.

Darcy Burbage is an Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist with over thirty years’ oncology nursing experience, and was the first Oncology Nurse Navigator at Christiana Care Health System in GrahamNewark, Delaware where she developed and implemented the role in the Christiana Care Breast Center at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center and Research Institute.

Currently, she is a Consulting Associate at the Duke University School of Nursing, was the Secretary of the Board of Oncology Nursing Society, as well as served on the Board of Directors of the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition, the Delaware Chapter of the American Cancer Society and is currently on the Professional Advisory Board of the Cancer Support Community Delaware. Darcy is the recipient of the Pearl Moore Making a Difference Award.
