“This weekend I had the privilege of attending the ESMO 2023 conference in Madrid as an invited speaker and poster presenter.
I presented our long-term outcomes in patients receiving Cannabidiol (CBD) for Chemotherapy-induced Peripheral Neuropathy (CIPN), where we found that patients receiving CBD fared significantly better than their control counterparts.
I also had the pleasure of giving a lecture on pathophysiological mechanisms in relation to CIPN preventive strategies and drug development. Together with Ravit Geva and Andreas A. Argyriou, MD, PhD along with chairs Jørn Herrstedt and Maryam Lustberg, we had a thorough walkthrough of the field with a great discussion in the end.
