In 2024, the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) remained dedicated to its mission of funding groundbreaking research aimed at transforming the lives of individuals affected by brain tumors. Guided by a multidisciplinary team of experts, the ABTA strategically invested in projects that held the potential to advance treatment options, deepen scientific understanding, and pave the way for future discoveries in the field. This year, the ABTA awarded a total of $1,083,000 in grants to support 23 new research initiatives, with a clear focus on encouraging collaboration, fostering innovative approaches, and nurturing the next generation of brain tumor researchers.
