“In a survey of over 4000 cancer survivors:
- 75% experienced income loss and/or extra expenses after diagnosis.
- 1/3 of the previously employed respondents needed work disability benefits.
- Being unable to make ends meet’ increased from 2% before diagnosis to 13%.”
