“We had an amazing annual GA meeting of STRONG AYA in Maastricht. Great to see the progress made over last year in the different work packages. The AYA patient advisory board did an inspiring mental exercise with us to stress what Cancer at Young Adult age really means for them.

Dr. Winette van der Graaf is the President of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC). She is a professor and the head of medical oncology Department at the Netherlands Cancer Institute (Amsterdam), Professor of Oncology at Erasmus MC (Rotterdam).
Dr. van der Graaf is a Board member of the European Cancer Organisation (ECO), Board member of the Connective Tissue Oncology (CTOS). Her research is focused on adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer and sarcomas.
