“Today, Marion L’hôte and Clémentine RIALLAND met with MEP Valérie Devaux from the FEMM Committee to discuss the upcoming ECO paper on Women and Cancer to be published ahead of the European Cancer Summit.
This Pink October, it is time to act for the 12 million European women impacted by cancer. We highlighted the need for:
– Better prevention and screening policies all across Europe,
– Promoting the fertility agenda at European Level, offering fertility preservation options for women undergoing cancer treatment
– Tackling gender inequalities in the workforce, by implementing concrete strategies and guidelines.”
