BPDCN Updates and Progress in 2023 – Naveen Pemmaraju
On OncoDaily we are starting lectures from the experts through the BPDCN Global Network and our first speaker is a world-known hematologist/oncologist and a global BPDCN expert prof. Naveen Pemmaraju from the MD Anderson Cancer Center (USA). He is going to give a state-of-the-art lecture on the BPDCN updates and progress in 2023.
Dr. Naveen Pemmaraju is a Professor and Director of BPDCN Program at the Department of Leukemia at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC) and Executive Director of MDACC Network. He is also the Leukemia Hematology/Oncology Course Director. His research work has been focused on improving outcomes and developing novel therapies for patients with rare, and ultra-rare, myeloid malignancies; including adolescents, young adults, and older adult patients with Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm (BPDCN), MPN and AML. He has been named MDACC’s, Department of Leukemia, Inaugural Director of BPDCN Program, in 2020, which is one of the world’s most active BPDCN research programs. Dr. Pemmaraju is the recipient of the MDACC Gerald P. Bodey Award for Excellence in Education in 2020. He is a well-known social media influencer and advocate.
