Cancer among people with Autism: From the bench and the clinic to public health and policy

The 1st International Conference on Autism Advanced Research and Management (AARM 2024) is aimed at fostering awareness and promoting collaboration in the field of autism. This conference is organized by the Greek Society for the Protection of Autistic Persons (GSPAP) in partnership with the Hellenic Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, the Culture, Sports and Youth Organization of the City of Athens (OPANDA), and Funogen.

A separate session is dedicated on “Preventing, Diagnosing, and Treating Cancer Among People with Autism: From the Bench and the Clinic to Public Health and Policy” will be featured, focusing on the intersection of these two critical areas of health and research.

This special session aims to foster a deeper understanding of both autism and cancer, encouraging a more inclusive and effective approach in medical research and treatment strategies.
