17th AACR Conference on The Science of Cancer Health Disparities in Racial/Ethnic Minorities and the Medically Underserved – NCI CCR

“CCR’s Equity & Inclusion team, alongside several of our researchers and physicians, had a wonderful time presenting their work and networking at the 17th American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Conference on The Science of Cancer Health Disparities in Racial/Ethnic Minorities and the Medically Underserved.
For several attendees, the CCR Office of Equity & Inclusion Health Disparities Travel Award helped them to get there. Created in 2023, this award provides financial support for members of CCR’s scientific workforce, from trainees to principal investigators, to attend this conference. The award serves as a bridge for scientists eager to contribute and bring insights back to their work in health disparities research.
