We must prioritise AMR to ensure cancer treatments remain safe and effective – UICC
Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) posted on LinkedIn:
“For cancer patients, antibiotics and other antimicrobials are often a lifeline. But with antimicrobial resistance (AMR) on the rise, these essential drugs are losing their power, putting vulnerable lives at risk. As global leaders convene for the UN high-level meeting on AMR, we must prioritise AMR to ensure cancer treatments remain safe and effective.”
