In a digital age, the power of online platforms cannot be underestimated. At the Campus Cancer Awareness Initiative Nigeria (CCAIN) , we’ve harnessed the reach of social media and digital tools to spread awareness, educate the public, and advocate for policy changes.
Digital media allows us to share stories, connect with global partners, and engage the youth, making them part of the fight against childhood cancer.
With limited resources, these platforms provide a cost-effective way to reach thousands. The conversation on childhood cancer cannot be limited to traditional spaces; it has to be everywhere—and that’s why our digital advocacy is so important.
In this childhood cancer awareness month, here’s a reminder to leverage digital media to advance the cause of necessary advocacy.”
