Joshua Omale: Stories of Hope: Survivors’ Tales

“Day 18: Stories of Hope: Survivors’ Tales
In the face of adversity, hope is a powerful thing. I’ve had the privilege of hearing stories from childhood cancer survivors—young warriors who have fought against the odds.
These stories inspire me every day, reinforcing why our work at Campus Cancer Awareness Initiative Nigeria (CCAIN) is so crucial.
From children who had access to care through our campaigns to those who found strength in community support, their journeys remind us that survival is possible.
These survivors are living proof that, with the right support and care, we can change the narrative of childhood cancer in Nigeria. Their stories fuel our resolve to keep going.”
