“I’m so excited to be speaking at the World Cancer Congress, 2024 Geneva Switzerland. As a patient, I am vested in amplifying patients voices as a panacea for patient – centered care and better treatment outcomes.

This year alongside Alexandre Alencar of The Rising Tide Foundation, Carolyn Taylor of Global Focus on Cancer, USA and Dr. Kolawole Akinjiola of Mdoc, Nigeria. We will be holding a session on

*Incorporating Patient Voices into Care, Advocacy and Research*.

In Presenting my topic titled: Relevance of Creating Platforms and Training for Amplification of patient voices in LMICs, I will highlight our patient-oriented programs at Project PINK BLUE which could be replicated across other LMICs and patient groups globally. I will also highlight our engagements with City Cancer Challenge to conduct city-wide assessments and implement programs for the benefit of the patient community in Abuja and beyond.

I’m so excited about this opportunity and the privilege to speak on behalf of many Patients in Nigeria.
