Yelak Biru: Rode 150 kms to raise funds for vital myeloma research and awareness

“Huge shoutout to our incredible Myeloma ICE team (International Myeloma Foundation’s Iceland Cycling Expedition) for conquering 150km through Iceland in 3 days! You rode through treacherous 30mph wind, torrential rain, beautiful scenery and raised $ for vital myeloma research + awareness.

Thank you for your passion and commitment to the cause and your journey to Iceland closely mimics a cancer patients’ journey – perseverance, overcoming, uncertainty, triumph.

This 7-day expedition wouldn’t have been possible without Sylvia Dsouza, MPA meticulous planning and near flawless execution. Thanks for putting the IMF on the global map of cancer-based expeditions, but most importantly for *crying* because you cared.”
