Natasha Rekhtman: New Rare Type cell lung cancer identified by MSK Research Team
Natasha Rekhtman shared on X:
”Just posted on Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center – incredibly moving story about the index patient in our recent study on chromothripsis-mediated small cell lung carcinoma.
Khaliq Sanda was a 19 yo premed student when he received the diagnosis. Our entire team was inspired by Khaliq to better understand his unusual disease and generate ideas for finding therapies.
Thanks to Ian Demsky for interviewing with me, Charles Rudin
and Khaliq’s family, and for sharing his special story!”
